Description
The Chemical & Electrical Control Container 2 conditions the water for downstream membrane treatment by controlling water chemistry and helping prevent scale formation. Antiscalant is added ahead of microfiltration, while sodium-bisulfite dechlorination and pH conditioning occur between the microfiltration and reverse-osmosis stages, helping protect the membranes and maintain suitable feedwater conditions for efficient RO operation.
