Description
The monitor is designed to work with dosing pumps to ensure the correct amount of liquid is being dispensed. It detects gas accumulation in the dosing head, which can stop the dosing process. By comparing its own pulse signals with the pump's internal stroke sensor, it can detect a fault if an external dosing stroke is not measured. This can be caused by an empty tank or gas in the dosing head. The monitor is typically used on the suction side of Grundfos DME and DMS pumps and is connected to the "low level" input, which must be configured for dosing monitoring.
