The Void Scanner VS150 Mk3 is a specialized 3D laser scanner designed for mapping inaccessible underground voids, stopes, tunnels, and cavities - areas too dangerous or impractical for personnel to enter. It is mainly used in underground mining, geotechnical engineering, and tunnel inspection to measure void geometry, calculate volumes, and ensure ground stability and excavation safety. The Mk3 is the upgraded version of the original VS150, offering improved ruggedness, measurement precision, and faster data acquisition.
