It is mainly used in underground mining, geotechnical engineering, and tunnel inspection to measure void geometry, calculate volumes, and ensure ground stability and excavation safety. The Mk3 is the upgraded version of the original VS150, offering improved ruggedness, measurement precision, and faster data acquisition.
