Description
This duplex pressure-booster pump skid is positioned after microfiltration and before the Evoqua reverse-osmosis membrane trains. Its role is to raise and stabilize the pressure of the pretreated water so it can pass through the RO membranes, where dissolved salts, nitrate, metals and other contaminants are separated from the treated permeate. The two-pump arrangement provides operational flexibility, allowing staged, alternating or standby service to maintain dependable RO feed flow. The skid does not directly remove contaminants; it provides the hydraulic pressure and controlled flow required for the package's primary membrane-treatment stage to operate effectively.
