Description

This Carte International three-phase liquid-filled power transformer is rated 7,500 kVA ONAN / 10,000 kVA ONAF and configured for 13,800Y/7,967V primary to 4,160V Delta secondary service. Designed for medium-voltage industrial power distribution, the transformer provides a substantial 10 MVA forced-air capacity for supplying 4.16 kV switchgear, MCCs, large motors and other high-demand electrical loads. The transformer features copper high- and low-voltage windings, approximately 6.82% impedance at 85°C, a five-position high-voltage tap arrangement, and forced-air radiator cooling. Instrumentation includes liquid temperature, winding temperature, liquid level and pressure/vacuum monitoring. Manufactured in September 2005, the transformer was built to CAN/CSA-C88-M90 requirements. The tank is designed to withstand full vacuum and contains approximately 3,942 L of Cross Trans 106 insulating oil.
